About Rolling Stones: The self-proclaimed "World's Greatest Rock & Roll Band", the Rolling Stones have never shied away from sensationalism nor the spotlight. As one of the flagships of the 60s British rock invasion, the malcontented and licentious Stones were the manifest counterpart to the picturesque, poppy Beatles. Led by legendary vocalist Mick Jagger and guitarist Keith Richards, the two have always been at the source of the group's creativity as well as its frequent disputes, scandals and breakups, perhaps proving that the band has always been weary of satisfaction no matter how hard it tries. With a litany of albums, chart hits, and tours, the Rolling Stones seemingly defy the constraints of time, yet even with such a prolific intrusion of greatest hits and reunion tours some remain less certain of the band's supposed agelessness.
